About us

Mission Statement

We are a Christian fellowship empowered by the Holy Spirit to walk in faith, love our community, and see lives transformed by the hope of the Gospel.

To "walk in faith" is to grow in our faith and live it out on a daily basis. This is discipleship.

To "love our community" is to carry out the Great Commission and obey the Great Commandment. This is outreach.

To "see lives transformed" is to see people come into a relationship with Jesus Christ that leads to a lifetime of transformation. This is disciple-making.

Our DNA

These are the things that we cherish and make us who we are.

1. God's Word: We believe the Bible is inspired by God and is completely true and trustworthy. Therefore, it is our authority.

2. Authenticity: We desire to experience and show real, godly love in real, rich relationships that is seen in real service to our community.

3. Spiritual Gifts: We want Faith Fellowship to be a healthy congregation and that means each member using his or her gifts for the building up of the body, to the glory of God.

4. Prayer: Without prayer we are nothing and can do nothing. We will be a people of prayer.

What to Expect

We want you to come as you are to our gatherings. Don't expect anyone in a coat and tie. Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday mornings and we know you will feel welcomed and loved.

Expositional Bible teaching: We are committed to Biblical teaching that engages people with the text, which is the Word of God.

Rich corporate prayer: The Bible teaches that God's house is a house of prayer. As Christians we believe that God's "house" is his Church, his people. Therefore, we want to be a people who are known as people of prayer.

The fellowship of believers: One of the defining characteristics of the early Church was the deep sense of community they shared. Their fellowship was no superficial but authentic and grounded in the love of Jesus Christ. We want to embody this type of fellowship.

More About FF

It may not be immediately evident from our name, but we are in cooperation with the Baptist State Convention of NC and the Stanly-Montgomery Bapist Association. For a basic outline of what we believe you can explore the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Please don't misunderstand, we love people of all denominational backgrounds and those with no church history whatsoever! We try to keep the main thing, the main thing, and that is Jesus.
